Silhouette® Sheer Shades

Light changes a room. Silhouette gives you a softer way to shape it—with a view you don’t have to close off.

Daylight, beautifully softened.

01

Keep the light. Soften the view.

Rather than a solid sheet of fabric, Silhouette uses adjustable S-shaped vanes suspended between two sheers. Open the vanes to enjoy the view through the fabric; tilt them closed when you want more privacy.

A softer kind of daylight.

Take the edge off direct sunlight without giving up the feeling of a bright, open room.

Your view. Your balance.

Fine-tune the balance between light and daytime privacy with a tilt of the vanes. When it’s brighter inside than outside, the privacy effect changes—an important detail we’ll talk through with you.

Help protect what’s inside.

The sheer panels filter UV rays, helping reduce one of the causes of fading in your floors, furniture, and textiles.

Sheer when you want it. Darker when you need it.

02

A little more control, from day to evening.

Love the openness of a sheer, but want the option of a darker room? Silhouette Duolite® combines a sheer shading and a rear room-darkening roller shade in a compact cassette. The sheer must be fully lowered before you can lower the room-darkening layer. For fully independent control of both layers, A Deux is another option, with a larger cassette. We’ll help you weigh flexibility against a more compact profile.

Different openings. A shared point of view.

Silhouette for the windows. Luminette for the doors.

A room can have very different openings and still feel connected. We like pairing Silhouette’s horizontal fabric vanes at the windows with Luminette® Privacy Sheers at sliding doors and wide openings. Both soften the light, with a scale and direction suited to the opening.

The same fabric, carried through.

Select fabric and color options are available across both collections, so you can choose a matching look rather than a near match. We’ll help you compare the shared options and confirm availability for each treatment.

Choose the details you’ll live with.

Light control, your way.

Think about the windows you adjust every day—and the ones that are harder to reach. We’ll help you compare manual operation with optional PowerView® Automation, then confirm the controls that work with your selections.
