Designer Screen Shades

Keep the view. Take the edge off the sun. A streamlined way to make bright rooms more comfortable, without closing them off.

Less glare. More of what you love.

01

Enjoy the daylight. Stay connected to the view.

Some rooms get beautiful light—and more sun than you need. Designer Screen Shades use solar screen fabrics to help manage glare and UV exposure while keeping a connection to the outdoors. The fabric you choose shapes how much light, view, and privacy you experience.

Take the edge off bright sunlight.

Make sunlit living areas and workspaces easier to enjoy. A screen fabric helps reduce glare without the closed-in feeling of a solid shade.

Choose the balance, not just the color.

Fabric openness and color affect the light that enters and the view through the shade. We’ll compare samples with your windows, sun exposure, and priorities in mind.

Help protect the room you’ve made.

Screen fabrics filter UV rays, helping reduce one of the causes of fading in furniture, flooring, and textiles. The level of protection depends on the fabric.

Screen fabric lets daylight remain part of the room.

Plan for daylight—and after dark.

02

Love the view. Make room for privacy.

A view-through screen fabric is not a dependable nighttime privacy solution when the lights are on inside. Optional Duolite® and Dual Roller designs combine screen and room-darkening fabrics, giving you another way to plan for both daytime light and evening privacy.

Screen fabric: sunlight softened, with a view through.

Darker fabrics preserve the view outward better than lighter color fabrics. Even 1% transparent screen shades should not be considered privacy shades as it will be possible to see inward at night.

Roller or screen? Here’s the short version.

03

The difference is in the fabric.

Both have a clean roller profile. Designer Screen Shades focus on solar fabrics that manage glare and UV exposure while maintaining a view. Designer Roller Shades offer decorative fabrics, textures, and light-control choices that include room-darkening options. Start with what you want the room to do.

Good ideas start with a conversation.
